Polytrade RWA IRL Episode 1: Lack of data on-chain
Polytrade has started their new series RWA IRL and has graciously decided to invite us, Defactor, alongside Blocksquare and Unlockd.
Here’s a summary of what was discussed:
- On-chain data:
- Facilitates evaluation and transaction purposes in primary markets
- Provides access to asset history, track records, and valuation changes over time
- Enhances trust through data immutability (e.g., valuation, resale, historical purposes).
- Demonstrates long-term value and current pricing backed by gold.
- There’s a need for standardisation globally to build trust with traditional institutions, education on economic benefits and transparency of tokenisation.
