IRL EVENTS
This month we attended 2 major events!
1️⃣ Web Summit in Lisbon happened between 11 - 14 November! 🇵🇹
Daria, our BD Associate and Sharif, Head of Technology and Innovation attended Web Summit Lisbon this year.
Here’s what they noted:
🔸 A true mix of industries from all sectors, as expected.
🔸 The venue was massive, with over 70,000 attendees.
🔸 Crypto was not a major focus, with fewer than 10 panels covering the topic over three days.
🔸 The crypto projects that seemed most relevant here were RWAs, asset managers, payments/wallets, and consultants.
💡 We also organized our own side event, which was a great success, bringing together over 75 attendees, including key players in the RWA space. During the event, Daria was the moderator on a panel centred on the topic of Commodities 🌾
The panel speakers were:
- Juan Henao from Diamond NXT
- Joao Lages from Lympid
- Guilherme Lima from Drexfy

2️⃣ DevCon was happening at the same time in Bangkok, Thailand 🇹🇭 between 11-15 November
To catch the behind the scenes, Elise showed us some clips of her first few days at DevCon and gave us a sneak peak into what the venue looked like and what was available for the attendees to join! Join our Telegram group to watch: https://t.me/defactor_official/1
In Bangkok, our RWAs Get Real side event was hosted by Anastasia and Elise, two members of our growth team!
📆 Thursday 14 November 2024
📍 O'Shea's Irish Pub (Sports Bar, Hotel & Rooftop)
The evening turned out to be pretty stormy so all our guests had to stay with us 😉 but we had the drinks flowing and plenty of merch for our attendees to choose from so it was a successful night of relaxation and networking!
